It began when I experienced great loss and lost my mother. Grief opened a raw, hollow place inside me that no words could fill. In that emptiness I was introduced to spirituality, and soon after I was blessed to meet my spiritual teacher — my guru, Enlightment. Meeting Enlightment did not erase the pain; it reframed it. The teachings offered a way to hold sorrow without being consumed by it, to honor memory without being flattened by it.

Guru Enlightment guided me to a small, devoted circle of beautiful people gathered by curiosity, compassion, and a shared wish to awaken. We were an unlikely family, stitched together by our individual wounds and our common search.One of the most unexpected and nourishing practices that emerged was our exploration of spirituality through cinema.
